. I was hoping they had some kind of feet or something at the bottom to hold them in place. You are not. They can and will slide on smooth surfaces. After using one of them for a few days, what I was afraid of started happening. These are stands, supposedly made of galvanized metal, but the condensate started to corrode the stand. They don't just talk about hot drinks and try not to spill liquids in them. Luckily for me my wife had extra cork sheets after the project and she cut them to fit the inside of the coasters. At least they don't show any corrosion now. Also, they look a lot better. Now let's add foam footers to prevent slipping. Glad they were cheap. Otherwise they would have to be returned.
