This is my second Bell + Howell 1176 Taclight. I use the flashlight 1-2 times at night to take the puppy to the potty. It works less than 10 minutes a day, which is the minimum usage. I bought the first one on July 29, 2016 and returned it as the on/off switch fell apart. I ordered a replacement taclight on August 24th. It has now been 7 weeks (too late to ask for a refund) and the same thing happened to this one. There's that soft orange rubber piece that's the on/off button. It closes a metal button on a spring. That piece of rubber keeps coming out. This is bad design. Even if the orange button gets stuck and fails, the tactile indicator toggles between bright and coded SOS modes. The concept of this tactical indicator is a good idea; however, it does not stand up to use. I recommend you to buy another product.
