Fell apart in a few days! Couldn't believe it. The product was everything it claimed its short life to be. Tried sending back but got no reply. :(

Torch broken after 2 weeks of use. First the power button shifted and didn't work. Then the spring between the battery and the bulb broke. Not worth the price.

I work at Postmates and needed a flashlight to see addresses at night, this light is very bright, I bought some lithium batteries for it and it seems a bit brighter than it used to be when I it normal had batteries. I don't need a flash, but it can zoom in to a smaller focused light or pull back to hit a larger area, and it feels very durable.

This was very disappointing. I bought it for my husband for Father's Day. His promotion was great. I couldn't wait for this to happen because he has to walk his dogs in the backyard late at night. In some places his flashlight doesn't reach the end of the yard. So it will be a pleasure. Well it came and he couldn't even make it stay. He sent it back. Very sad. This ad must be removed!

Light is very bright at first and shines a long distance. However, it faded within a week or so, even with new batteries. I don't think it's as powerful as an "As Seen On TV" flashlight. I was a little disappointed although it is very well built and seems to weigh heavily in terms of material. The blink setting and the SOS setting work very well, but the switch can only be tapped lightly. If you press it too hard, it just turns off.

I bought this tactical flashlight as a surprise for my husband. He is handicapped and immobile. In the event of power failures, which can often occur here due to the weather, it is important to him to have a reliable flashlight to hand. He was/will be amazed by the light. I can vouch for its brightness. I don't think I've ever seen such a bright light for such a reasonable price! I doubt we'll ever need to know how waterproof it is, so it's not an issue for us. This is my second Bell + Howell 1176 Taclight. I use the flashlight 1-2 times at night to take the puppy to the potty. It works less than 10 minutes a day, which is the minimum usage. I bought the first one on July 29, 2016 and returned it as the on/off switch fell apart. I ordered a replacement taclight on August 24th. It has now been 7 weeks (too late to ask for a refund) and the same thing happened to this one. There's that soft orange rubber piece that's the on/off button. It closes a metal

Almost the same can be bought for $5. Look around on amazon. This magic (high lumen output) flashlight is not really magic. These flashlights use CREE LEDs. This is not new technology at all. CREE has been around since 2012 and they produce high performance and long lasting LEDs at a low cost. Bell + Howell is one of those companies that run TV ads that say they've revolutionized the world of flashlights, but "their" design isn't actually their design. Okay, let's start by saying this is a decent flashlight. 3 stars is fair enough. The facts are, you're misled into thinking it's waterproof, well it's not even close. I have contacted Bell Howell Corporation for answers to questions about packaging to ensure it is not counterfeit. There are friendly and professional people except for the first person who answered a match or maybe many of the same calls. I simply asked for a supervisor and then professionalism stepped into GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!
