ERROR: Security

Okay, let's start by saying this is a decent flashlight. 3 stars is fair enough. The facts are, you're misled into thinking it's waterproof, well it's not even close. I have contacted Bell Howell Corporation for answers to questions about packaging to ensure it is not counterfeit. There are friendly and professional people except for the first person who answered a match or maybe many of the same calls. I simply asked for a supervisor and then professionalism stepped into GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Telescope end to zoom in and out lol. 1. The lens starts to pop out after a few uses and I've bought 2 with the same results. 2. We don't know the design of the telescopic mechanism, but it's safe to say that the kind people who bought this product is not waterproof if there is NO RUBBER O-RING on the lens and battery case. So now we have to question any claims this flashlight can make. I live on the coast so I'm testing the 2nm theory. I have yet to try. I, like many people who know, will never use regular alkaline batteries if there is such a design that you can easily buy quality rechargeable batteries and use them instead if you have an AAA cartridge. If you read carefully, using lithium ion batteries is different than using Energizer batteries. So if you do, and this flashlight is NOT WATERPROOF (again, not) like a magnetic light or of course a great floodlight. Not only do you spend money on a flashlight, but also on rechargeable batteries and a charger. The wrist strap is a great addition, especially for a compact flashlight. A decent case would be great but I guess you get what you pay for. Again, if there were rubber O-rings this review might be different, I would add myself, but I think that's bad publicity at best at this point. The worker takes my call. Guys, please don't throw this flashlight into boiling water. and there is a nice piece of paper once you open the arbitration agreement box, in which case something will go wrong. Guys if you want just throw it in the raffle like a flashlight. It's definitely worth it, but it's not worth the way it's advertised. I just want to add pictures showing that there is no rubber o-ring and the orange rubber cup does not make it waterproof. The photo shows a beautiful Chinese mark. be very skeptical now. Take a look at the history of the once great American manufacturer that started operations in 1907. smh
