Love the brush, great size for travel and it's the same as other brushes I use so its real. Some other reviewers have complained about the strength and that it doesn't close fully. If you are not careful with your products, they will fail within days or weeks even if they are durable, so this is the user's fault, not the product. What doesn't close completely doesn't close completely. If you look at it from the side after closing it closes evenly, if it were fully closed it would push in too hard and cause it to break or close unevenly. I only use this type of brushes but the regular size and this one did the same job. I highly recommend it. I would be wary of other bad reviews as many of them are from people who don't care that much about their business.
