This Pup Is Going Nowhere

In short, buy this if your dog is tethered like a dog to wreck your back seat. It's inexpensive and effective. The dog seat cover is easy to assemble even without instructions (tip: stick the brand label to the top). The lid is secure and adjustable, and the harness holes are necessary and useful for attaching the two included dog harness leashes, which can keep the Fido from wandering around to some extent and prevent the poor beast from escaping through the windshield in the event of an accident. Our 55-pound, very alert and alert dog, who willfully wanders around in the back seat on most trips, has absolutely no worries about his grip with this cover (albeit on cloth seats, which create some friction). The headrest anchors are long enough to reach the front and rear seat headrests. The under seat brackets could have been longer, but they worked on the Ford Escape. (These are anchors that slide between the backrest and the seat to keep the cover from sliding off the front of the rear seat.) We didn't try to zip the door flaps shut, but instead secured them with the supplied D-ring under the Seat tied together for packing strength. Basically we are very satisfied.
