Bought this for my pontoon boat and had problems right out of the box. The outside diameter of the centering feature on the bezel was almost 0.0700 inch larger than the inside diameter of the coaxial electrical connector/mounting clip, making it impossible to mount to surfaces less than 3/8 inch thick. Undeterred (I hate sitting still on lakes) I stuck the problematic element into a mandrel and processed it. Problem #1 Solved Then came problem #2: The plug didn't fit into the back of my radio! The soldering was so sloppy, with so much excess solder left on the center pin, I went back to the shop to heat and clean to get it fit! As a stroke survivor with only one functioning arm and leg, I cannot express how happy I am that I had to climb up and down the trailer boat six times for a simple antenna setup.
