Review on πŸ”Š Black Marshall Stockwell II Portable Bluetooth Speaker: Enhancing SEO by Arunprasath Elliott

Revainrating 4 out of 5

#1 in my Homebrew Face to Face Competition Comparefest

Was nervous at first because all the reviews seemed to be from reviewers who got the product for free. It's not that their reviews aren't accurate, but I didn't want to buy a Bluetooth speaker at this price point and knowing if the performance would justify the cost was a big part of the purchase decision for me. Long story short, I tested this speaker against several other highly rated buletooth speakers in the $50-$75 range just to make sure that Stockwell's price isn't just based on the brand, and I ended up going with it satisfied with the results. The Stockwell II isn't a perfect speaker - it has a wider bass range than some speakers with louder designs, and it might not be as loud as some at the very top of the volume knob - but the only thing it does well is that it sounds for it almost every source and every listening scenario is good. Every time I thought I'd found a song or sample that proved another competitor could beat the Stockwell II for less money, I found there was a caveat. For example, the Archeer A320 produced better bass at low to medium volumes, but its mids were consistently dirtier. Upon further research, I found that the Archeer adds an artificial bass boost at low frequencies that sounds good in some cases, but extends into the low mids, muddles some instrumentals, and gives vocals a weird "overboosted after effect". . Meanwhile, at higher volumes, the Stockwell produces a sufficiently muted sound to be heard, while remaining noticeably tighter than the others. Likewise, speakers that could be louder than Stockwell usually sounded stifled or gritty, either due to the processing or the speakers themselves, which didn't really offer a better experience than Stockwell at max volume, which holds up quite well and is loud enough for an outdoor gathering of all but the most messy! (If you're trying to top a kid's pool party or a loud family barbecue, you might need more than a portable bluetooth speaker at all!) Anyway, I'm writing this review for people like me who are intrigued. Stockwell II, but I doubt the price. I will be returning or giving away the other 4 speakers I tested this with and will be happily driving Stockwell for the foreseeable future. For example, if you have an unusual taste in music, you listen 99% to EDM and hip-hop. There may be a more aggressive speaker out there that meets your expectations. But compared to anything I threw at the speakers in my homemade 2019 Bluetooth Speaker, be it acoustic guitar tracks, jazz, rock, metal or podcasts, movies or YouTube music, Marshall went all out. the most natural, i.e. "lively" impression. There may be competitor speakers that outperform Stockwell - I don't run an audio review site and don't have time to spend weeks testing alternatives. But I was very impressed with this little speaker (which is arguably more portable than many of BT's other big competitors in its price range). While I'm sure I can find an even better option at twice the price or twice the size, I've never been able to get a Stockwell II to sound *bad* - more so than some of the others I've tried - and it often does, sounded surprisingly clear. tried surfing the web but didn't want to waste all my time and effort on this little side project. :) I hope this helps someone else evaluate their options for a quality Bluetooth speaker that pairs with a phone, tablet, or laptop that's still easy to carry.

Pros
  • Featuring Bluetooth 5.0 technology for wireless music playback. Play music from any Bluetooth device up to 30 feet from the speaker.
Cons
  • Crumpled
