Disappointing: Training and education

I had no idea what to expect from this STEM toy and was definitely surprised when I opened it up and found all the details engraved in wood. After a brief but terrifying exercise in pulling everything out, I was pleased to find that nothing was broken and the prices seemed to be at a very high level of accuracy. When my kids and I started putting it together we were a little upset to find that it needed glue that wasn't in the box. It didn't really matter, but it was annoying. A little work and we have successfully assembled the device. only to find that it doesn't really work. First, it had no engine. This is sold separately. It's really annoying, but okay, we'll implement it manually. Second, the balls began to fall from the orange elevator. (Speaking of balls, they're smaller than regular balls, and all but two were lost within minutes.) Third, if the ball manages to reach the top. it doesn't crash right now. It's a big deal because at this third level he'll fall on a rooster that can connect him to another set from the same set. In general. this is a good start. I can't bring myself to give this place only two stars. But I can't recommend it either. If marbling made a few small changes (added glue, added a motor but made a wall over the elevator to prevent the balls from falling out and either changed the angle of the second floor or put some sort of bumper on the edge has), if it does, would be a very respectable STEM toy, but now it's not very good.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
