Background:- I play PS4 Pro with a headset connected directly to my controller via the 3.5mm headphone jack.- I usually play first-person shooters like BF4 and adventure games like Horizon Zero Dawn . Problem: - The maximum volume of the headset when connected via the controller is too low. Solution: - I bought this amp. Pros: - This amp increased the maximum volume of my headset by about 50% to 75%. - The battery lasts at least 4 hours. I haven't had a chance to measure a fully charged battery yet. The amplifier can be used as a battery for the controller. The micro USB port allows the controller and amp to be charged together without having to disassemble them. on the amplifier - Great price - Looks original Disadvantages: - Noise can be heard constantly in the background. You can only hear it when the game is paused or the volume is turned off. The amp is bulky, but it only took a few minutes to get used to. I would only see this volume as a possible problem for first-person shooters, but certainly not for adventure games. Bottom line: I would definitely recommend this amp to those who need to crank up the volume on their headset when connected to a controller. Good buy and unbeatable for the price
