This thing ended up costing me $160. The hair does not dry out, but the ends look dry after 2 days of use. My hair gets matted and stays damp no matter how long I use it. High speed is too high and tears my light natural curls instead of helping them shape. It smooths my hair while making it wilder than ever. Infrared light is a trick to charge the device. It does not speed up drying and makes the dryer unexpectedly heavy. This attachment is difficult to attach. Seems durable. I will give it to my husband whose hair is not curly. I will buy a second replacement dryer, a cheaper one that really dries.
