The thing is sooooo loud. A few years ago I had almost the same Aqueon filter (no LED) and it was very quiet. The product has now apparently been improved to the point that it is practically unusable. Thank you guys UPDATE: I ran this filter continuously for 48 hours and it gradually settled down to the point where it is now as quiet as the filter I replaced and basically works great. I'm not sure if this is a fix for all QuietFlow 10 noise issues reported, but try running it for a few days before returning it.
