I also bought these pens to try and get more colors. I have many brands of pencils including Prismacolor, Arteza Expert, Marco Raffine, all of higher quality. Here's what I think about these crayons: They really are a little better than the original Craz Art crayons because the colors are brighter and a bit smoother. Thing is, the colors are nice, but if you can't sharpen them, the pencils become useless. The chrysolite pen which I really liked is now half the size and today I received the pens. I will ask for a refund. Wanted to love her but I didn't
