The price is great but the colors are different.

I love Timeless Creations pencils. I've been using them since I had my first adult color in a book set. When I took the original pencils out of the case and compared them to this one, I noticed color differences between colors of the same name. As an artist who loves to shade with tints, I don't mind. It's just a very mild annoyance. The price is great! Do not get me wrong. I just need to rename my color chart with "old color" and "new color".

Timeless Creation Pencils

I also bought these pens to try and get more colors. I have many brands of pencils including Prismacolor, Arteza Expert, Marco Raffine, all of higher quality. Here's what I think about these crayons: They really are a little better than the original Craz Art crayons because the colors are brighter and a bit smoother. Thing is, the colors are nice, but if you can't sharpen them, the pencils become useless. The chrysolite pen which I really liked is now half the size and today I received the…

These are very nice colored pencils

These are very nice colored pencils. I have many brands, expensive and cheap, and these are some of my favorites. I've used them on several paintings and already have my favorite color combinations (see Greener Pastures and Honeydew). They mix, although I haven't done a serious mix (galaxy). Their mines are a bit hard and can be sharpened well. The shading is great too. I've attached an image where I used them for most of these. Attached is a picture of Jane Monk from her book "Tangled…

I bought it to try and will not buy it again.

Hmmm you get what you pay for. The colors are great, but many pencils break when sharpened. I almost used several pencils for a coloring book just to sharpen them. I usually use an electric pencil sharpener, but have also tried my Prismcolor sharpener and a cheap small sharpener, all with the same results. It looks like the bars were already broken before they were sharpened. Some pencils are noticeably curved, making them difficult to sharpen. The leashes are ok, better than the cheapest but…

Far better than normal Crazy Art crayons

Colors are more pigmented and pleasant to use. expect tin. But I hate the box where you have to throw everything away to find the pen you want to use. But the best way to solve this problem is to group yellow, orange, red, blue, purple colors. Etc., along with an eraser, and store in a plastic pencil case available at the 99 cent store. You can use it to create a decent coloring page. but it requires a bit more work than, say, Arteza, which you can sometimes find at Revain for $19.99 for 72…
