I'm a 5'1" female and bought this coat because I can't get wet in the rain. Strange feeling anyway, I couldn't find a long women's coat so I just took it to look. Well I'm in love! I have a large one and it's mid-ankle. And my hand is completely covered too. It's big enough to fit in my purse underneath and can be worn with a cute sweater or hoodie. It's a light coat, so I won't be wearing it in freezing rain. The hood also has drawstrings to keep my high ponytails and buns dry and nice!
