I have released a set of autocross pads that are also great for everyday use. They had a sharp initial bite and a hard feel, but made a lot of noise and covered my entire wheel, tire and half the car in brake dust every ride. I have used the Z17's in my wife's car before and they left a lot to be desired. Going outside I knew I was going to lose a little bit of bite but I settled on the Power Stop Z26. From the very first use with the Z26 it was pretty obvious it was pavement. Well now I have less dust and they are rock solid as advertised but these are quality outdoor mats and nothing more. Power Stop makes and sells damn good rotors so I'm a bit disappointed in their pads. I would consider the Z26 an OEM pad equivalent, which isn't too bad, just not how Power Stop positions it as an upgrade.
