Love this light bulb, my first one lasted 4 or 5 years, will order again and just got my second! So I have a question about monitor glare from this lamp and my solution to this is a simple folded "blank" paper that I place behind the lamp; Alternatively, you can flip the light to the front and still have keyboard light and no glare. However, I am using a 46" TV that is about 5 feet from this light source, but I think the same setup would work for a closer monitor. The second picture just shows my "curtain" in the form of two sheets of paper folded in half and glued together. on top of each other <I was in a hurry and didn't use a bigger sheet so two> with a small piece glued along the bottom, with a coin on top to stabilize it. Use more coins if you want to blow the fan!
