Overall I would say this is a great kit. I'm glad I made this purchase, especially after trying some previous USB lightbulbs that didn't give me the flexibility I wanted. The cord on this one is long enough to connect to a turn signal and it's bright enough that I haven't had to burn out the turn signal bulb unless you're looking at something very closely. UPDATE: I loved this lamp until it died a few days ago. I bought it in July 2020 so I expected it to last longer. At least it took longer than the person who said it did, several days. Love this light bulb, my first one lasted 4 or 5 years, will order again and just got my second! So I have a question about monitor glare from this lamp and my solution to this is a simple folded "blank" paper that I place behind the lamp; Alternatively, you can flip the light to the front and still have keyboard light and no glare. Update: Purchased 1st March 2020 The light stopped working on 1st October 2020. After contacting support I was told the warranty is three months. The first issue I noticed was that the angle of the gooseneck doesn't allow for very many places to place and move it. It comes right out of the middle of the clamp and creates a slightly awkward position. It would probably be better if they put it straight up or at a different angle. The second issue was the plastic grip cups in the clamp. They fail too easily and can eventually be lost simply by moving the light.
