Ever seen commercials where the announcer always says "but hey, that's not all" after describing each product feature? Well that's what this product is for! I bought this product because I've tried many different wireless backlit keyboards and they all had two major flaws, which was very frustrating. They either had short timers to save battery so the lights kept going out while in use, or they needed to be constantly charged. Here's why I gave this product 5 stars: 1. It eliminates the need for a backlit keyboard! Yes, you don't have to spend more money on a backlit keyboard! Unlike backlit wireless keyboards, it stays on until you turn it off. Unlike a wired backlit keyboard, where a cable runs through the desk, this backlight, even when wired, can be placed to the side, behind, or under the tabletop so the cable doesn't get in the way. wait, there is more.2. To turn the light on or off, just touch "anywhere" on the light bar. This is extremely useful when you place the light under a table (e.g. when used with a keyboard) and you cannot see the light. You just touch the light bar and voila, you have light instantly! No more fumbling around in the dark to find a button or switch to turn the light on and off! But wait, there are 3 more. To adjust the brightness, just touch the light bar. It switches from the brightest to the lowest level in about 1 second! Just release the bar when you reach the desired brightness level. If you want to change the setting later, just touch and hold the strip. It gets lighter, and if you touch and hold again, it gets darker. Just a quick touch on the panel will turn it on or off instantly! But wait, that's not all. It's very light and flexible. You can place it anywhere. Not only can the arm bend and bend in any direction, the light strip can also rotate. This means you can adjust the light more or less towards the keyboard, or even the other way for indirect lighting. OK, it's not perfect. A smaller clamp could have been used and the handle could have been lengthened a bit. However, all of the above points far outweigh these disadvantages. If you are tired of backlit keyboards where the lights keep dimming or need constant charging, I highly recommend this product!
