Ettore lists the brass clips used in their mops for about $3 a dozen. Why not include a few of these along with spare blades? The reuse of old clips is questionable. On my original Ettore, the clips were attached to the blade with some sort of glue. Not a good idea. The glue used acted on the blade, causing it to become stiff and crack. The glue also made it impossible to easily remove the clips to attach to a new blade; the clamps broke when you pulled them off. Although this blade is suitable for interchangeability with an Ettore (or ProGrip) handle, it does NOT come with new clips, making it slightly less than useful. Download another 25 cents per product and add some new clips!
