I tend to buy small decorative items for my home. I recently bought fur for my fireplace which looked rustic and quirky (even though my fireplace was gas). The pelt is good but has no latch to keep it closed. I bought this clasp to fit over the handles of the bellows to keep it closed and I have to say the clasp looks like it was original to the bellows. It fits perfectly, is very easy to apply and works exactly as I hoped. Now I just have to decide what I'm going to do with the second cap that was in the box. Maybe I'll make a matchbox to put on the mantel and use a second catch just to give people another reason to wonder why I have so many wood burning gas fireplace accessories.
