This monitor has everything a modern monitor should have. Built-in webcam - Check2. Displayport, HDMI port, USB-C port and even VGA β Check3. Built-in soundbar - Check4. Buttons under the screen for managing Skype / Teams calls - tick (but almost useless)5. Nice looking 27 inch display. So what's the problem? 1. It's only 1080P at 60Hz. I couldn't verify this and just assumed the 27" would be at least 4K.2. The webcam is adequate but not great. The angle is fixed so you'll have to adjust the display. 3. The audio works sometimes, but mostly it's just digitally distorted audio. HP has updated firmware to fix this problem but it seems to make things worse. If you're lucky and the sound works, don't toggle the video inputs and don't go to bed.4. The monitor buttons are very well hidden, even if you know where they are you won't find them.5. The call control buttons are labeled, but I most likely won't use them (even if this monitor is ever made by HP I've called HP support and so far there's no solution other than replacing it with an identical monitor. out of the box so I can't return it anymore, since it worked for a few days. I wanted this monitor primarily for the soundbar as I have very little desk space and this front speaker works well for me where most other monitors with built in rear speakers work.
