This is without a doubt a great pump - reliable and powerful. However, it has a weak point that is quite serious but easily fixed. The rubber seal is the Achilles heel. three of these pumps. The first one started leaking, contacted the seller who immediately sent me a new one, no questions asked. Great service, impressive. In the meantime I bought another one to keep in reserve. After using all 3 I found that they all have the same defect. Leak at the bottom gasket where the pump connects to the motor. I decided to open one and see if there is a solution. It's there, and it's simple: use Permatex Gray to make a new (thicker, stronger) pad and it's dried out ever since. I will do the same with the other 2 and post pics - so stay tuned. Obviously there is a simple solution when applied to production that makes this pump unbeatable. Then he gets 5 stars.
