Review on ๐ŸŒŸ Glitter Protective Cover Case for Nintendo Switch Console and Joy-Con Controller - daydayup Dockable Case by Oscar Munoz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks good and feels good; Docking; Detachable controllers in case

This case feels good. Personally, I don't have major issues with the handgrip, so it doesn't bother me. The fact that it's hard plastic makes me wonder if it actually protects the Switch in the event of a 5 foot fall (I have an attic, no guardrail). Not that I intend to check it out, but just in case. I love the little pens that come with them, they are so cute. And if you don't need them, then you have extra ones just in case. 3 pairs are included, so you can mix and match as you like. It's also fairly gender neutral, so anyone can use this case (and if someone judges you for having pawprint joystick covers, screw them, they're cute). The screen protector wasn't damaged like I've seen with other issues so I'm lucky and that's why I'm giving it 5 stars. I just wanted something simple and still be able to dock and also undock controllers without removing the case. What did I get! That's great. I'm also not one to pay attention to the grip part on the back (there is a surface/bubble on the back at the bottom corners to change the grip to something higher for your hands on a flat surface). I warn you if you put this on a smooth and/or wooden surface it will slip, if you're not careful, accidentally slide it into my laptop a few times and realize how slippery it is (since I have a laminated wood got surface or something) something like that for my table). The stand (accessible without removing the case) shrinks in half when placed on top, but slips when placed on a horizontal surface. As I have no problem with my tendency to push things off my desk, not giving it 5 stars is not enough in my opinion. Anyway, you can find an easy fix by using something that doesn't slide around easily.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
