Review on Dorman 902 109 Thermostat Housing by Tony Suggs
Chevrolet and Infiniti I've seen a lot of new factory parts out of the box so I'm not surprised either.
The updated metal case was much better than the original plastic case but the thermostat remained open after about 3 hours of driving and returned a fault code "P0128 – Coolant temperature is below the thermostat control temperature” as the fault code is being processed/replaced . As a mechanic for MB, Chevy and Infiniti I've seen many new factory parts out of the box so I'm not surprised or upset just disappointed that I have to do it again.
