I love these socks! I'm an athlete and I spend a lot of time doing ballistic movements in minimal shoes with a lot of weight and pressure on my feet. Needless to say my heels are throbbing day in and day out. I'm also diabetic, which can lead to dry skin and calluses on my feet. I put them on after training and they are so good. They're a bit soft where there's smeared gel and it's fine to walk on. These socks have held up well to multiple washes and I bought them a few months ago. I finally realized that the strip is a bit thinner so I'm going to order a few more pairs because I don't want to be without them anymore. I would definitely suggest air drying them like your favorite sweater - lay them flat and air dry.
