UPDATE. Last spring there were occasional crashes. Now it is not possible to turn on the heating when needed. Its only purpose is to see the displayed temperature. So we need to go into the cold and press the SET button twice, after which the heating will start. The product appears to offer a very limited interval between the temperature at which the heating kicks in and the temperature at which the cooling kicks in. . This could be good for something that requires tight temperature control. But for a standard greenhouse with vegetables and flowers, this is absurd. Today, on a nice, pleasant day, the heating came on. Upon checking I found that this is because this controller only has a 3 degree Fahrenheit spread under the temperature at which it turns the fan off. This is unnecessary micromanagement of the temperature in the greenhouse. We need a controller that allows us to turn on the heating when the temperature is low to avoid freezing. And also turn on the fan when it gets into the 90s to avoid damaging it. We have to send this back. The product description is unclear, the instructions no better.
