My skin is fair with neutral undertones and I usually buy foundations in ivory, classic ivory or nude (generally natural). I wouldn't call myself pale. I bought it in Fair-Light 20 based on reviews and a little research. I was surprised to see that it turned quite dark and after a bit of oxidation was a full two shades darker than my skin tone. I mixed it with a very light BB cream which luckily I had on hand and it worked, but the formula itself is quite thick and quite difficult to blend with a brush or beauty blender. I ended up applying it underneath my BB cream and then setting it in place with a BareMinerals Illuminating Mineral Veil and it looked great. I have to say though that I couldn't wear it alone as it was just too dark even after shading and its thick consistency made it look blotchy on me. I gave it two stars because I have sensitive skin and haven't had any breakouts and it seemed to moisturize which is always a plus, but the formula just doesn't flatter my skin and doesn't blend well. .
