I've worn this jacket for forty years. My last 2 jackets of this type have each lasted 20 years. I wear them every day, all day. This jacket has the best quality and heavy duty construction of any biker jacket I have ever owned. classic police style. This jacket will easily last me another twenty years. It's over twenty degrees outside all day today, only tried it with a shirt underneath, perfectly warm. In the cabin for an hour, like good skin, does not overheat at all. The armor might be impractical for some, but it's (each piece at a time) removed in minutes. a little stiff out of the box but like a new baseball glove to put on. Best deal I've ever gotten from amazon. Yes. Take it from a sixty year old biker, buy this. Even triple the price is the best quality you will find. If you're a real biker and spill your bike in this thing, it won't hurt. I'll keep the bulletproof vest because in my sixty years I've found that it strangely supports my back a lot more comfortably than without it. I should have thought about it years ago and put the bulletproof vest back in my old jackets. FIT might be a bit prone to needing a size up, but I think it's about body protection and not physical measurements. The zippers are very heavy, durable quality, heavier than anything I've seen. Rivets, stitching, cut like a black leather t-shirt. looks great. couldn't be happier.
