I bought a small robe for my 4 year old who is about 45 pounds and 42 inches tall. The fit is great, not too big but you can wear it for a year or two. The material is very soft and the pattern is very clear and colorful. The plush red trim around the neckline makes it very comfortable. The only thing that bothers me is the lack of pockets and of course the kids keep finding little things they want to put in their pockets.
