Don't fall for the lure of rebuild shops with limited options. But this if installed by a competent person

was disappointed Sacramento, approx. Retrofit cars with limited mobility will not install a piece not purchased from them. They completely strip customers with disabilities and charge either 700 or 1700 for a pedal purchased from them and installing it. I understand the liability issues but I'm sure there might be a disclaimer form as they wanted to offer a service there like most mechanical shops do when you buy your own parts. It's not that a wizard like Harry Potter screwed up, they're not that special to handle that kind of money. Luckily we have a handy friend. Received on Saturday and installed the all-rounder on Sunday. I bought it for my mother who has mild cerebral palsy. It was installed in the 2018 Hyundai Ionic Hybrid. Fits well. The plumber had a hell of a time when his new drill bits pierced through several metal panels. He considered welding but eventually managed to do it. He really wished he had a longer drill bit than the standard drill bits for this process after working 1.5 hours and being paid $75 for the installation he completed. It's easy to remove with a round pin that you have to pull to remove the left pedal. But I only use the left accelerator pedal while driving her car. I've been used to it since I started driving as a teenager. Was concerned about the strength of the pin but the jack of all trades installer blessed it and said it was a solid stainless steel pin. It doesn't look like the pedal we previously used in their older '96 Civic DX. One I could open for quick access for users of the right accelerators. This requires disconnection by simply pulling the pin. I'm happy to show her her new car and pedals when she's ready to get behind the wheel. Both came as a surprise to her. I suspect it will be soon because driving in an old '96 non-air-conditioned civilian crown in Sacramento would quickly become tedious if needed. Love the disabled person in your life and save money on your wallet too with this item. I haven't crashed the car yet and it is delicate and functional
