I installed 2 of these last week and they didn't work. They caught fire for Wi-Fi, were recognized by the application and added to Alexa. But. everything connected to them would not turn on. Also with the manual button on the face. I recently saw a similar review that seemed to have the same problem. I asked for a replacement which I received today. I was optimistic because the first one I installed turned on when I pressed the manual control button. However, this was before I connected to Wi-Fi and added it to the app. When I did that, I was prompted to update the firmware. Just like I was when I installed the previous two. After I canceled the update. that didn't work anymore either. And also. I haven't found a way to reset it. If you don't take the ult. You'll be prompted to install it every time you open the app. Send them back for a refund. You need to find out their firmware.
