Review on 🔴 Anker 3.5mm Nylon Braided Auxiliary Audio Cable (4ft / 1.2m) - Red by Louis Mechtak

I really wanted to like these cables as I'm a fan of other Anker products but this has to be the worst set of cables I've ever used. I bought these to replace the cables which worked fine but I wanted color jackets and both cables I ordered added hiss and hum to the sound. I know sometimes a faulty product will go through quality control, but if two cables arrive with the same problem, it's not a QC issue, it's a manufacturing issue. I wanted to add that Anker contacted me and they replaced both cables. However, the replacement parts are just as bad as the originals. If you need cables I would recommend another company as Anker doesn't get this simple manufacturing process right. To be honest I think they outsourced production to a third party and put a cable set on the market that didn't live up to the quality - hence the return policy for this particular product. And Anker hoped to recoup its investment by releasing the cables, hoping no one would notice the terrible sound quality, and if anyone complained, it simply replaced that odd set of cables "in good faith." To me, this whole no refund policy screams fraud and is alarming. I wouldn't even buy cables if I realized you can't return them if they don't meet the requirements. I add my answer to Anchor in the quote below. "First of all I would like to thank you for sending in the new cables. I didn't want to reply with my first impressions because I want to give an honest review of the cables and that takes time. However after using the cables on some setups it can I can honestly say why I paid for the original cables and this particular model with additional spares is overpriced and should be taken off the market) because it sounds clean in every setup I have tried I have given your cables a fair rating and used them in the same units with the same speakers as I have used cheap 3rd party cables and have used both old and vintage cables in every install.Anchor cables and newer replacement cables are much worse and always produce background noise.Thanks again for the free replacement and Your time to try to fix it.Like I said I like It's not that this has happened to such an easy to make item as I have used many Anker products and have always been happy with them. I've recommended several Anker products to my friends in the past and they've always given me positive feedback, but after this fiasco I'll probably find another source that fits my cable needs and stop recommending my peers. My biggest lesson from this endeavor was not to buy product from a company that doesn't return products. This should be an automatic signal to buyers that the company doesn't want to incur the cost of returning a product they don't stand behind. "
