These new ones aren't as good as the old ones and I'll tell you why? The old ones you just had to stick on any surface you like and when the batteries died you just had to twist the cover and replace the batteries as you could replace them without having to do anything else. You can't do that with them because once you've taped them to the wall or other surface, the only way to change the batteries is to take the whole thing out, swap the batteries, and then put them back on. Glue or double-sided tape. So I don't recommend these new ones, preferring the old styles of the round shape.
