My new senior cat has a hard time settling down for the night even though she has her own room and is an only cat. I purchased this and spray it on her bed, around the litter boxes and on the scratching post. I feel it helps her. I spray it about 15-30 minutes before "her bedtime" - it has cut down on her howling at all hours of the night. Of course, never spray directly on kitty. All cats are different and some might not take to this calming spray, but that doesn't mean it is a bad product. I gave it four stars because the spray bottle can be a bit messy and drips around the nozzle.
