Line does not pull directly into the spool holder. The bobbin thread goes through the top of the embroidery a lot and the upper thread barely comes out of the bottom of the embroidery. Did everything I could find and think of to fix this. I even tightened the tension on the spool holder all the way. I have loosened the upper thread as much as possible in the Stellaire and am still getting poor results. I get the best results with Brother bobbin thread or 5000 meter bobbin thread I bought. When I pull out the spool holder with this thread, it just falls out of the holder. When I use Brother bobbin thread or bobbin thread that I bought in bulk, the bobbin holds the thread and the bobbin and bobbin stay together. I can feel the thread tugging when I try to thread it. However, this bobbin thread appears to be the wrong gauge, although it claims to be for my machine, it appears to be much thinner than my spool holder can handle. I do not recommend this to anyone who owns a Brother Stellaire embroidery machine. Now I have a lot of bobbin thread that I might have to throw away because it doesn't fit my machine. I bought Embroidex bobbin thread on big 5500 spools and it seems to work great on my Stellaire, both threads should be 40w but this thread is much thinner. My Stellaire uses an SA156 spool and 40w filament, but this filament doesn't seem to be 40w. I have used my Stellaire to wind the filament from the prewound bobbins onto a regular Brother bobbin and the filament still does not work. In reverse order I wound my brother's thread onto an empty spool and this thread continues and it worked fine. Conclusion: The spool itself is actually SA156, but the thread is not up to date.
