Review on Premium USDA Certified Organic Parrot Food: Marlene Mc'Cohen's Signature Blend Bird Seed and Pellet Mix by TOP's by Cindy Vang

Nothing for the little cockatoo

Large parrot pellets were too big for my old little lemon cockatoo. I was told to take a size small. Pellets are the perfect size but they have too many seeds which my bird shouldn't have (vet said no seeds). the large size had fewer seeds. The little one has more sunflower seeds, including lots of millet seeds and pieces of hazelnut, which my bird shouldn't have. The large size has an almond that was more suitable for my cockatoo. I think I have to keep halving the large pellets so my bird doesn't waste them by throwing away half of the pellet. I didn't know there was a different formula for the small size. I thought it would be the same but small granules and pieces of almonds. The ingredients label is not shown in the photos. To be fair, the label on the front says pellets and seeds. I thought the size talked about that too. I believe the small size is for birds that can eat a lot of seeds including millet seeds. Millet is not big. Of course I didn't know it was different.
