I bought this belt because of the cheap price and to compare with the zipper. There is absolutely no comparison. The Flip Belt wins in all categories. First, although Nathan has two pockets, the pockets are too small for most smartphones. The pockets have little to no stretch, so getting phones in and out is a real chore. Flip waistband has large elastic pockets. Second, it's convenience. The material of the Zipster zipper is mesh. When worn over clothing there is no problem. However, if you're wearing it under your shirt and it's right next to your skin, that thing gets itchy. The material in the flip belt is infinitely more comfortable. Third, it's the movement of the belt. The zipper is not high enough to be comfortable. As soon as I started walking, he immediately started jumping. It was my phone, my keys, an ID and two cards, and my Jaybird Vista case. There's no way I would make it 3 miles on this thing. Add to that the scratchability of the material, and I lasted about 100 yards and immediately turned to swap for a crossover strap. If you're looking for a comfortable treadmill that doesn't bounce, this isn't for you.
