Very good for cars and boats

I mean it really helps boost the FM radio but when you're in a garage or somewhere underground it gets fuzzy. I know it's for naval purposes so can't really complain. Another downside is that it only comes in a plastic bag. It would be nice if there were hints or some useful tips to maximize performance. I had to replace my old antenna motor on my Acura integra and really didn't want to replace it with an old clunky transmitter. So I bought this one instead. It is very good. I removed the panel inside and connected it to the stock FM transmitter port (usually all cars have it) and it worked. What I like about it is that the antenna bends and bends easily so you can hide it very discreetly and it still works. I tucked mine in the hatch door's rubber trim which keeps moisture and water out. I just had to fish it out and tuck it under the groin. The existing hole for the power antenna was still there. So a very cheap repair. All I had to do was find a $3 socket and plug the hole, perfect fit. Not to mention, this antenna costs a few bucks and has 2-day shipping if you have Amazon Prime. I don't think you can beat this antenna. I've seen my dad's radio transmitter on his Dodge, which he paid at least $50 for, and it works almost as well. Just don't put it under the metal or it will interfere with the signal.
