**Update** The company contacted you about the broken wire and sent a replacement straight away. 5 stars for taking the initiative to quickly respond to a negative review and actually fix the problem instead of just blaming the consumer. Before they called me I bought another cable to replace the broken one and *dude* I didn't realize how easily they slipped through the pipe in the wall. I struggled with another cable for almost an hour (there were already 5 cables) but was able to do it in literally 30 seconds. my television and entertainment device. All the cables ran neatly down the tubes and initially everything was great, but after 7 months I started noticing that my Nintendo Switch was often on mute when playing games. I finally found out that there was a problem with the HDMI cable and when I replaced it with another one the problem went away. So fair warning - 1/3 stopped working in less than a year.
