Eco-friendly brush that unfortunately splits

Update: After using it 3 times a day for 3 days I noticed my mouth was bleeding after brushing my teeth. Strange. My fear of a splinter has come true. I have three huge sections of bamboo in my mouth. This brush is good in theory, but terrible in practice. I go back to my plastic brush. I have been using the same brand and style of toothbrushes for the past 19 years. I change my toothbrush every six to eight weeks and more often when I get sick. I'm very picky about my toothbrush. I also know that my toothbrush isn't exactly eco-friendly, and I've tried brushes with detachable heads, water brushes, and even recyclable toothbrushes. I've never been happy. My favorite brush has medium-length bristles with a head that curves outward. I just love it. I chose this bamboo brush because it has a huge head. I didn't like soft bristles, but my dentist talks about soft bristles all the time. This toothbrush is actually not that bad. First, the dimensions are comically huge. I don't think it would be comfortable for a child to use, but I really like it. I don't mind soft bristles like I thought. They do a good job and my teeth are really clean. I'm not completely hooked on bamboo yet, but I think I'll get used to it. I felt like I could get a fragment at any moment.
