My puppy is small, only 6.5 pounds. When we rescued her, she weighed almost 4 pounds. The vet said she was severely malnourished and on the verge of developing scabies. Wool was rare - almost non-existent. I started feeding her the food I give my adult dog and although I liked her and she gained some weight those were the only benefits I noticed. In fact, while waiting for the three-minute timer, she's running around in circles in the kitchen so excited. I really enjoy giving her good food that she loves and that has such healthy benefits. After just three days on this meal, my husband and I noticed a noticeable difference in her looks and alertness. We could only be happier if we could just afford to buy the Optimum, but we're having a hard time keeping up with the costs.
