Dogs love it in the food

So all my 3 big dogs LOVE this food so much. It is great. BUT according to the chart on the side of the bag it would take me 2 pounds (ie 2 bags) a day to feed all three of them just this food. It's $70 a day! That's more than I spend on her food in a month. So for us it's more of a pleasure option. I love that there is real food for them. I hope that the small amount each of them will receive will be enough to benefit them.

Pros
  • Freeze Dried
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Absolutely not! Best in Freeze Drying

I don't care if it's like feeding your dog magic pellets! The cost of this is absolutely CRAZY! It's a 1 pound bag for $35. Just for comparison, we typically feed our dog the Hills Science diet, which is actually one of the most expensive dog foods you can buy. We usually buy it in 30lb bags - about $60 per bag - compared to a 30lb bag from Dr. Jeff's Optimum will cost you $1,050! Are you kidding me!

Pros
  • Dehydrated and Freeze Dried
Cons
  • Nothing Here

Great ingredients! suitable for dehydrated and freeze-dried products

I tried it because I wanted to switch to a completely raw food diet but didn't have the time. I love that it has texture rather than softness - love the granules which help remove plaque from my pup's teeth. The food was very light and he enjoyed it very much. It has an odd smell, but I think that's normal given the OMEGA-3s in it. I would definitely use this to complement his food because it's quite expensive - I think it's a 'cherry' on his food. :)

Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Good ingredients are important!

My puppy is small, only 6.5 pounds. When we rescued her, she weighed almost 4 pounds. The vet said she was severely malnourished and on the verge of developing scabies. Wool was rare - almost non-existent. I started feeding her the food I give my adult dog and although I liked her and she gained some weight those were the only benefits I noticed. I wanted to give her something that would help her get stronger and grow her fur better. I scoured the internet and found a good quality food that I…
