Difficult to install but looks good

It was a little tricky to install even with the youtube instructions but once you see how it sticks it's easy. "clicks" in the pads. Be careful when removing the old pads, there is a plastic ring around the frame that can come loose. It shouldn't, but if it does, it's not hard to put it back in place. I just have to go slow and be gentle but firm lol. First attach the new styrofoam driver covers with tape. They are marked L and R, just copy the old ones to see how they install. Now take the new pads and simply slide the flat tab into the plastic ring around the frame. You really have to "force" something. You'll know you're in the right place when you feel like breaking a small dent or protrusion surrounding the frame, but the lining material just "clicks" in. You will understand when it happens. You can use just your fingers, but if you want to make it a little easier you can use a piece of plastic, like a cut off credit card, a guitar pick, or even a flathead. a screwdriver if you're *really* in trouble. Try the easiest way first. Once the first one snaps in, you'll know what to feel around the rim. You will feel the plastic "bulges" and how difficult it is to squeeze them. Once it snaps to all tabs, it's installed and you're done! The foam is great, very close to the original, and there are no changes in noise isolation or noise cancellation on the qc-35s. Sounds exactly the same. Also, they look really cool when you have a colored pair. I love snow camo lol. Maybe I'll try it out with my Audio-Technica M50xs. I just wish they supported a few more models, I'm a headphone fanatic and would love to replace my Sony xm1000 mx2 pads as well as my old Sony MDR-7506 pads. Oh good. Very happy with it!
