The product was very easy to swap out and snapped onto the hooks quickly. The click isn't very loud, so you'll have to listen for it as you slide it into place. Received the "Speed Racer" ear pads for my QC 35 ii today as the original ones were torn and the yellow foam was clearly visible. It was a little tricky to install even with the youtube instructions but once you see how it sticks it's easy. "clicks" in the pads. Be careful when removing the old pads, there is a plastic ring around the frame that can come loose. It shouldn't, but if it does, it's not hard to put it back in place.
