Does anyone know if the remote works on 433MHz or 315MHz? I want to buy a programmable remote control as the remote control that comes with this device is its Achilles heel. I never got a reply from anyone including the manufacturer which led me to the following email: I could never figure out what frequency the Pilot 4 channel remote ran on so I spent extra money to get a clone Buy remote control that covers all common frequencies. XIHADA 4-channel multi-frequency garage door remote control worked. It took several attempts to install the XIHADA Pilot Remote Agonist to get XIHADA to expose and clone a signal for each of the 4 channels, but once I found the sweet spot, XIHADA quickly, very quickly took over each channel. I don't know what frequency Pilot is on, but now I have a spare remote. Why would I spend $20 on a remote control to operate a $35 device? The pilot operates the wheelchair lift and the doors of my van. I don't like being in an awkward position! I have a brand new Pilot system, I could just unplug and plug in a new one, but I need to be able to open the doors myself to make the swap. I gave it a 4 out of 5 as it needs a larger and possibly stronger mounting hole to change the key and the device also needs to have an on/off switch, especially since it controls powerful and potentially dangerous equipment like my wheelchair elevator.
