It's not cotton and it's not very wide; otherwise good laces!

These are good laces, better than the standard laces that came with my skates. The listing wasn't clear what the actual fiber content was and now that I've laced it into my boots I realize I threw away the packaging. It was synthetic though, I don't remember if it was nylon, polyester or a combination. I prefer the wider cotton laces, although they're a little less durable, they don't leave blisters on your hands from repeated skate tying (or worse, cuts).
