I got this because even though I've switched to a healthy shampoo and conditioner, my hair still had static after drying and combing it. I decided to spend some money on a wooden comb as the plastic comb I've been using for ages isn't doing me any good. I received this comb and it is great. After waking up this Sunday, I didn't shower. I just combed my hair to get rid of the head part. It is excellent. My hair didn't feel as brittle as it does with a plastic comb and it's stronger and shinier with no static. The part itself is very beautiful. Solid wood, no seams or anything like that. The teeth are pretty thin so I don't know how well this particular comb would work for someone with very thick or very curly hair. My hair is thin and straight so it suits me perfectly. I recommend this product to anyone who needs a great little comb that won't break the bank.
