Sensor calibration is NOT in sync with Trojan specifications

An informed consumer will know HOW to properly use this sensor and how it should NOT be used. My 48V Trojan T-875 battery data sheet states that the batteries are fully charged at 8.49V each (50.94V for all 6 in series). It also shows that the batteries are 50% charged at 8.07V each (48.42V for all 6). This display shows that the 10th bulb lights up when the total voltage exceeds 49.2V, the 9th bulb lights up at 49.2V, and the 8th bulb lights up at 47.4V (7.9V each). According to the Trojan data sheet, at 7.9V, each battery charge is only 32%, but the indicator shows 8 lights, which corresponds to an 80% charge. So the sensor calibration is NOT in sync with the battery manufacturer's documentation. The sensor works well but an INFORMED consumer will know to charge the batteries when the 8th LED first lights up. This prevents deep discharge of the batteries and extends their service life.
