At first I thought this device was a gimmick, but since washing sponges and makeup brushes is a necessary evil, I decided to give it a try. WOW! I'm shocked. I have deep skin and I hate looking at dirty sponges so I'm used to cleaning them often. This device works and is easy to use. I even cleaned two small makeup brushes. While cleaning a makeup brush doesn't work as well as cleaning a makeup sponge, it's still a good way to soften up the dirt that's ingrained deep in your makeup brush before you clean it wash normally, but this method will not work with a larger brush. Size. But for a makeup sponge, this is just the BOMB! I am impressed and can only recommend it.
